- Arms of Inquity

Once you walked down a lonely street,
The day after you won the fight,
Forget not, the puddles there,
Which seemed a lonely sight,
When from its walls did evil spring,
Then the flowers stopped blossoming,

So you remembered the Great Lord,
Who walked with you on evil ways,
When it seemed that all was lost,
Nothing but the fiery blaze,
Many are the things he made,
From the waterfall to the glade,

For I have carried you in my arms,
Now weary with iniquity,
when the burden seemed too much,
I would not let it be,
Through my heart I feel the pain,
Will I ever be whole again,

You searched for gold but will you find,
The way to Heaven thorny so,
The water is foul and muddy here,
The spring of life is Heavens Door,
For when you see the truth inside,
Would you put out the light ?
